Sermons from October 2016

The Politics of Jesus

This week’s message takes a fun look our current political context, and how it interacts with the Bible. Of particular interest is how Jesus operated within His politically charged climate, and how the New Testament Church followed in His footsteps. There is guidance for those of us today looking for Biblical answers on how to live godly within the political environment of our world.

Is the Church Demas?: Cultural Christianity

This sermon looks at the culture of Christianity in American and how it has produced cultural Christians at the expense of producing biblical Christians. To understand this shift the generations of the Silents, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials are looked at through their statics involving their faith. In the end one can see that there exists a real need for the church to produce authentic biblical Christ followers.

God has placed a call/dream inside each one of us and we experience many of the same things that Joseph did as God gets us to a place to live in our calling/dream.
