This week’s messages focuses on Jesus prayer of Gethsemane found in Matthew 26:36-46. The practice of prayer leads us to places of difficult prayer but fulfilling prayer. It is when we learn to pray according to God’s will and not our own will that we are truly living the blessed life, and a life full of joy. God teaches us dependence upon Him and not ourselves through a prayer filled life.
Prayer should be simple but at times we have a tendency to make it complicated. This weeks sermon looks at some very simple aspects of prayer. The text is Luke 3:22-23, which is Jesus prayer during His baptism that opens heaven.
