This message is a narrative from Luke 15:11-32. The story of the Lost Son. Here we dive into, how we can can get so far down and feel like there no way out. Through Jesus we will always have Hope.
This sermon is a vision casting sermon for LWC. Our goal is to pray as Jesus commanded in Luke 10:2 for every home in a 10 mile radius around the church. The prayer is a simple prayer that anyone can pray. It is a prayer requesting the Lord of the harvest to send laborers. The need is not for a larger harvest but for more laborers.
This message reflects on the mission to bring other to Christ through the story of the paralytic brought by his friends to Christ. The friends were incredibly creative and focused to accomplish their mission.
This week’s messages focuses on Jesus prayer of Gethsemane found in Matthew 26:36-46. The practice of prayer leads us to places of difficult prayer but fulfilling prayer. It is when we learn to pray according to God’s will and not our own will that we are truly living the blessed life, and a life full of joy. God teaches us dependence upon Him and not ourselves through a prayer filled life.
Prayer should be simple but at times we have a tendency to make it complicated. This weeks sermon looks at some very simple aspects of prayer. The text is Luke 3:22-23, which is Jesus prayer during His baptism that opens heaven.
This message focus on corporate stewardship of wealth by looking at the parable of the farmer in Luke 12 and three true stories of churches and wealth. The parable is acted out by the children of the church, and the remaining two stories from Pastor Dana’s life experience.
