The last of a three part series on 2 Peter. The text for this message is from 2 Peter 3:13-18. The message is on Peter’s apparent focus as he ends the epistle to move forward with God. A forward motion in our spiritual walk ensures that we do not find ourselves in a place of dangerous spiritual footing.
This message, the first of three from 2 Peter, speaks to the difference of the current cultural understandings of salvation which stand in contrast to the scriptural teaching of salvation. 2 Peter 1:3-15 are clear evidence of this cultural disconnect.
The second of three messages from 2 Peter. This message deals directly with the implications of the Second Coming of Christ. Today, just as in Peter’s day, there is a need to remove the doubt of Jesus’ return, to ensure we and those we know have experienced salvation through repentance, and to live expectantly.
